Who is the Real Winner in the Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict?
Diplomatic Lessons from a Western Failure
Dear Free Subscribers,
My 34th long paper, quite detailed, is about the bloody conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh almost one after the "end" of the war. It contains a lot of first-hand and sensitive information and is reserved for paying subscribers.
Who is the real winner? How can we explain this victory, which is not the one most often described?
My essay is also an in-depth reflection on a major failure of the West, both strategically and in terms of values.
I don't think that Western chancelleries have learned all the lessons. I describe here a few fictions and processes that are still alive and that explain both our failure and my rather pessimistic predictions.
With my warm regards,
Nicolas Tenzer
